  7. Sentinel allows two SCO UNIX systems to be connected in a fault-tolerant
  8. configuration using either a SCSI, Ethernet, or FDDI link. Sentinel uses
  9. existing SCO drivers and is hardware-independent. Flexibility allows the
  10. primary and standby systems to have dissimilar configurations and users to be
  11. connected as intelligently as budget allows. Sentinel contains automatic
  12. user-switchover porcedures and menu-driven, online system recovery procedures.
  13. It supports mirroring of dissimilar disk arrays and UNIX and non-UNIX database
  14. file systems. Sentinel architecture allows removal of the failed system for
  15. independent diagnosis and repair without user interruption.
